Like both Elton John and Rod Stewart, (though several years before him), Gerry began his career singing with Long John Baldry's Band, performing many venues and festivals throughout the UK.

Two years later, Gerry signed as a solo artist with "Long John's" record company Bluebird , and so began an extensive recording career, going on to further successful recordings with Pye, CBS, Ariola(America) and Decca.

Performing on TV and all major venues and music festivals in Britain, and appearing throughout Europe and the rest of the World, Gerry has gained vast experience working alongside major artists both "live" and in recording situations.

A professional musician with 26 years experience in entertainment, progressing from international dancer to bill-topping, cabaret, recording, multi-vocalist and tribute artistes.

A Skilled vocal coach to many stars and backing vocalist to, for example, Gloria Gaynor, and recording session vocalist, backing Lulu, Bobby Womack, David Bowie, The Christians and Jackie Graham.

In 1986 recorded and released own single on Bluebird Records, Billy Boy and Virgin, reaching No.2 in the Dance Charts, No.10 in the Soul Charts and appeared on Channel 4&'s "Solid Soul" with Chakka Khan, Anita Baker, Run DMC, Princess etc., performing "Turned On To You".

Current release (MJ Cole) "Be Sincere" on A&M Records, reached No.13 in the national charts.
