Matthew was born in London England, and grew up in the lovely Caribbean islands of Trinidad and Tobago. He started singing at the tender age of four years old, and has been singing ever since. Matthew has toured with many singers and bands such as The Drifters, Alexander Oneal, Dionne Warwick, The Platters, and Luther Vandross to name a few. Matthew has played at venues all over the world and his audiences range from publicans to Royalty and one thing remains the same, everyone is always pleased with his performances.

Blessed with a rich voice natural charm and energy, Matthew has been hailed the king of soul. He clearly loves his music and audiences return the feelings as they respond to mighty beats, up lifting rhythms and infectious enthusiasm. Matthew is a vocalist in the tradition of such greats as Luther Vandross, Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye and has mastered the art of getting emotion through the microphone and to the audiences.

Once described as the 'most famous unknown singer' in the UK, Diane Shaw has, in her career probably performed in front of more people than most of the singers in the pop charts today.
